Getting Old

FRIDAY KNIGHT NEWS

What a drag it is getting old. In reality I feel better now than I did in my youth. This is in spite the many injuries I have sustained in my young life. The trick is remembering that all of the aches and pains that I now suffer are just residual remnants of the early injuries. These early injuries by far outweighed the pain level that I now have the pleasure of enjoying. I wish I had $1 million for every time my doctor/s told me I was lucky to be alive. Most people usually say that they wish they had a nickel for every time they have been told something; I figure that I might as well dream big. At least this way after taxes I will still be a multimillionaire. Sure I still have to suffer through life looking relatively fit and healthy despite the fact that my doctors have told me numerous times that internally I am as beat up and worn out as an 80-year-old man. Now if I only had enough wisdom to benefit from this experience. Maybe someday I will but I will probably have to wait till I’m 80 years old to figure it out.

My stories are about martial arts adventures that are intertwined with paranormal or supernatural events. The following links are to the Kindle version books from the "Dream Walker” series. Our adventurers find themselves on a quest where they are confronted with both conspiracy and mystery. Their challenge is to unite their mind and body skills together utilizing what they have learned in the martial arts with the transcendental power of dream mediation. They attempt to do this while they are trying to make a life for themselves and elude those that seek to use and control them.
