FRIDAY KNIGHT NEWS
My computers were both down for the last few days. I was not
sure if there was anything going on outside as I live in isolation without the internet.
I eventually tried to use my tablet but had no Wi-Fi available either. So like
any good martial artist I spent extra time playing with my swords (eastern and
western style blades), jo, manriki, and all was well with the world again.
I took the computers being down as a sign from God for me to
reflect on the book I am currently writing on martial art principles. I also
recognized this would be a great time to think about working on a new campaign for
getting my books out in front of a larger audience. At first I thought that the
only way to do this was to encourage everyone that is already reading my stuff
to increase their caloric intake.
Excuse me as I stopped to follow my own advice, my wife just
brought me in my evening snack of sliced red peppers, cucumbers and sweet snow
peas fresh from out garden. The calorie boosting part is the blue cheese
dressing we use for a dip. I’m not big on gardening but I like eating. Thankfully
my wife likes growing things and I help out in what little ways I can. We also
had some fresh strawberries too I almost forgot to mention, we just ate them
without the blue cheese dressing.
This being Memorial Day weekend I must take time to thank all of my buddies who served in the USMC, USAF,ARMY, NAVY, COAST GUARD and to
all the LEO out there that also helps protect us and keep us safe. God Bless
you all!

Their challenge is to unite their mind and body skills together utilizing what they have learned in the martial arts with the transcendental power of dream mediation.
